Their Oath Embodied

Their Oath Embodied

My Mothers are always with me
I sense Them everywhere

They are my arms as I
go about the tasks of the day

They are my voice as I
sing songs of praise

They are my feet as I
walk with women around me

They are my breasts as I
nurse my babies to sleep

They are my ears as I
hear the heart of my husband

They are my womb as I
weave children and create communities

They are my whole Heart as I
worship my Holy Ones

At all times and in all things and in all places
I am an emissary of my Mothers
