Untitled by Joslin Keim
a thousand different feelings flash within the light that illuminates her sky
hear attentively the roar of Her voice
and the murmur going forth
from the congregation
She sendeth it forth under the whole of Heaven—it’s over
as suddenly as it’s begun
Her lighting drops angrily from Her
unto the ends of the Earth
there is power in Her emotions such that She cannot be manifested
in a sprinkling.
She is a thunderstorm.
She will be revealed.
(written upon reflection of Job 37 and my first observance of heat lightning in North Carolina.)
