An Invitation to Seek, Find, and Know

Welcome to the Seeking Heavenly Mother blog!

In connection with our website, the Seeking Heavenly Mother blog aims to be a place of inspiration and community. Our goal is to share a wide array of perspectives and content that can inspire you in your personal journey to seek, find, and know your Heavenly Mother. As is the case with our website, the views represented here are those of the individual authors and artists, and not necessarily of the organization.

For each of us involved in this project, Heavenly Mother has played an important role in our faith journeys, life experience, and personal identities. For me personally, knowing I have my Heavenly Mother brings me a sense of strength, identity, and personal authority. The more I have sought to know my Heavenly Mother, the more these feelings have been augmented.

As I have progressed in my personal journey, my belief that it is the will of my Heavenly Parents for me to know both of Them has increased. Coming to know Them has often involved searching, asking questions, and looking for answers. In Matthew 7:7, we are all formally invited to this process of asking and seeking:

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and (s)he that seeketh findeth; and to (her or) him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

This scripture was the motivation behind our motto – Seek, Find, Know. While the scripture only specifically mentions the first two words, we believe that acknowledging Heavenly Mother as more than a concept, but as a Divine Being, is an essential part of understanding Her significance in our lives. Thus, more than just seek and find, we want to know our Heavenly Mother.

Thank you for joining us in the journey!
